Terrific racing stables, offering up to 25 loose boxes with permission to extend. In addition there is an arena and canter track available by separate negotiation. Close to gallops and Malton town center.
Malton has been a center for racing since the 17th Century, and is still home to more than 20 trainers. Langton Wold, a racecourse until the mid 19th Century, now has a public gallops, and Highfield Gallops is on the doorstep.
Nawton and Malton have extensive amenities, including a train station with services to York and Edinburgh, making it convenient for owners to visit. There is also easy access to the A64 which links to the A1(M). There are several local equine veterinary practices as you would imagine.
Malton is a thriving market town with excellent facilities including hotels and shopping.
The yard is well laid out with flexible accommodation, providing space for horses and tack. The principal stables have a fresh air system and water.
There is planning permission for 22 additional stables (19/00350/FUL), allowing for further development. There is plenty of space to create an office and staff facilities subject to planning too. Beyond the stables is an equine swimming pool that requires refurbishment.
Adjacent to the yard is the canter track and covered, circular school.
Covered Circular School
The school offers a covered, circular area with space for a lunging ring and horse walker within. This is available by separate negotiation.
The canter track measures 2 furlongs, with 4 paddocks inside, measuring 3.45 acres in all. This could add considerably to The Yard, and is available by separate negotiation.
